The following is a summary of potential issues you may encounter, with their solutions.
Vicon Studio displays an error message that it cannot find the video source.
When you connect the video source and attempt to continue, the error message remains and you cannot click Next.
Before starting Vicon Studio, ensure you have connected the video source to the capture card. If you have received this error while using Studio, connect the video source and restart Studio.
While installing Vicon Studio, the following message is displayed:
Please attach your device to this computer any time after the installation has finished.
Ensure your PC has a suitable SDI Ingest card. For details of suitable hardware, see PC requirements for Vicon Studio.
Bad calibration (drift or offset in the rendered markers/cube).
Ensure adequate wand wave coverage, that the wand wave continues for long enough and that enough different depths are covered.
Check the system load, issues such as the network adapter jitter, shut down unnecessary processes, virus scanner, etc.
